Overview
To assist both the Admin and Surveying Departments in all clerical and admin functions to ensure the smooth running of the departments. You will be required to undertake and complete a Level 4 Diploma in Business Administration with XR Training alongside your work as the training will be factored into your working hours.
Responsibilities
- Management of the surveying filing systems
- Compiling and assisting surveyors in issuing tendering documentation
- Liaising and assisting surveyors in issuing tendering documentation
- Computer data entry
- General administration duties and cover for periods of leave
- Be on hand to provide support and assistance to other departments as requires
- General office duties, e.g. photocopying, archiving, telephone liaison and message-taking
Essential Requirements
- Proven administration experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other related software applications
- Ability to work with highly confidential matters
- Be able to show initiative in prioritisation of workload and managing time effectively in a demanding team environment
- Capable of working under pressure
- Professional and able to deal with Agents, Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers politely and to build effective working relationships
Other information
- Working hours are Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 06:30 – 13:30
- Salary is negotiable, depending on experience
