Are you properly equipped?
If you’re just starting out in the world of vehicle maintenance, you’ll need a tool kit. Kits are a cost-effective way to purchase a variety of tools that’ll help you complete the task at hand and to cover things you’ll take on in future.
As a starting point, we recommend the Halfords Essentials 52 Piece Tool Kit. Ideal for small jobs and light maintenance, the set includes a 3/8” drive ratchet, as well as a range of sockets and pliers.
For those at a more advanced stage of their training, we recommend the Halfords 92 Piece Garage Tool Kit. The 72 tooth ratchets require as little as 5 degrees of movement to turn a fastener, and the wide range of 12-point standard sockets (4-19mm), deep sockets (8-17mm) and spark plug sockets make you well-equipped to tackle a number of maintenance jobs.
