business improvement techniques

business improvement techniques

The business improvement techniques programme (BIT) is a lean focused programme that identifies areas for improvement within companies, in order to bring about change.

BIT apprenticeships provide the training, knowledge and competency for employees to drive positive improvement within a company. This can be achieved with a range of tools which aim to minimise waste and cost, to maximise profit and performance.

This apprenticeship is designed for small, medium and large companies wishing to develop their workforce to become more efficient in their day to day activities and processes.

How does it work?

This apprenticeship is driven by the learners working in small teams on a live dynamic project, addressing issues from within the organisation. Solutions to these issues can be devised and implemented to increase proft margins, efficiency, employee moral and many other organisational factors.

Delivered in-house by one of our specialised assessors and lean consultants, we will come to you and work around your schedule to assess, train and support your employees throughout their learner journey.

What qualifications will be achieved?

Apprenticeship programmes follow a standardised framework, i.e. a combination of qualifications that must be completed in order to successfully achieve. On completion of the business improvement apprenticeship, candidates will achieve the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques
  • Level 3 Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques
  • Level 2 Essential Communication Skills
  • Level 2 Essential Application of Number Skills

Exemptions can be made for Essential Skills qualifications depending on prior attainment. All business improvement techniques qualifications are accredited through BIIAB.
